1. Can the Minister state whether a negotiating team for Barbados has been
constituted in order to interface with authorities of the Republic of
Trinidad and Tobago on the matter of reaching a fishing agreement
between the two countries?
(a) If the answer is yes, will the Minister provide the names of the
members of that team?
(b) Further, will the Minister state the number of engagements, if any,
the team has had with their Trinidad and Tobago counterparts
since being constituted?
2. Will the Minister state what plans, if any, the government has to
advance the process of reaching a fishing agreement with the
Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

1. Is the Minister aware of the growing public concern over the rising cost
of living in Barbados?
If the Minister is aware will the Minister state what plans, if any, her
government has of addressing this concern?
2. Will the Minister please state what plans, if any, her government has
to expand the basket of goods not subject to VAT and other impositions?
3. Will the Minister state whether her government has commissioned a
comprehensive review of the extent and impact of price movement on
basic foods and other items in this country since January 2010?
(a) if such a study has been commissioned will the Minister state the
findings of this study?
