Notice of this Bill was given on 4th March, 2009.
The Bill first appeared in the official Gazette on the 9th February, 2009.

Senator the Hon. Miss M. P. O. McClean: To move the passing of a Resolution to approve:

(a) the borrowing under the External Loans Act Cap. 94 D by the Government for the purpose of supporting its foreign reserves of sums up to $150 000 000 in the currency of the United States of America in the Trinidad and Tobago capital market by way of a bond issue through Scotiatrust and Merchant Bank Limited as Lead Manager and underwriter; and

(b) the establishment of a sinking fund for the redemption of each bond issue made under the said Act and for the moneys necessary to maintain and service that fund.

Notice of this Resolution was given on 4th March, 2009.
